Nova Scotia Anglers Handbook 44

I'm in the truro area ( colchester county ) and there is quite a few spots to fish up this way. There's some nice speckled and sea run in the salmon river, but it can't be fished until may 15. Babylon 2 0 2 Mac Serial Junkie. There are tons of Brooks that run into the salmon river and out of the salmon river that hold some decent sized brookies.

Also there is a pond in the middle of town that gets stocked early may which can lead to a few 18' + stocked rainbows I believe. You can travel up nutby mountain and catch browns from what I hear but haven't been out that far yet to try. I've been into striped bass fishing pretty seriously since last year so if you like the taste of those buggers we got tons of areas in the county that hold them. Moved here from newfoundland and looking for some help on finding some good spots for rainbow fish and brook trout. Looking all over nova scotia and for eastern shore area. James, me and two other Newfs here in Halifax area are big time bass and chain pickerel anglers. If you ever want to meet up at Timmy's for a yarn just holler. We do a little trouting too, but that is frankenfish (hatchery) stocked pond stuff. I've been thinking of getting me a rod made for trouting, and finding a wild pond, just haven't had time yet.

There are several nice pools and runs you can walk to in under 15 minutes, and a couple of nice lakes that are a little farther in along a decent woods road. All of them hold just Brook trout. The rules limit lures to single hooks and no bait of any kind. Most anglers you'll meet there fly fish, but spinning gear is permitted despite their disapproval. Make sure you read the handbook that comes with your license, this is not Newfoundland and you can't ice fish in every lake you see. Not that it's a problem now, but I did have to tell a fellow he was breaking the law by taking trout from a lake near his new house over the winter. He was from Grand Falls I believe, and quite surprised. I told him he was very lucky, the fines for that are steep, and that he'd better read the regulations.

I live only 4 km from river so I fish it whenever I can during the spring. George Foreman Grill Cooking Times Bratwurst Soup. Tale Genji Seidensticker Ebookers.
